Free online seamless texture generator

This seamless texture generator turns any photo into a tileable image you can repeat on floors, walls, terrain, and PBR materials. Upload a JPEG or PNG, blend the edges, preview a 2×2 or 3×3 tile grid, then download — all processing stays in your browser.

Before / after: spotting seams

Before — hard seams in a 2×2 tile

After — edges blend, tile looks continuous

Before: look for hard vertical or horizontal lines when the image is shown in a 2×2 grid — those are seams. After: edges should disappear into continuous material. If a seam remains, widen blend width or re-crop so repeating features do not collide. Already have a candidate tile? Verify it with the seamless texture checker.

What “seamless” means

A seamless (tileable) texture has matching left/right and top/bottom edges, so when you place copies side by side there is no hard seam. Game engines and archviz tools rely on this for large surfaces without stretching a single huge image.

How the online maker works

Crop to the region you care about, then blend a strip of pixels across opposite edges. Lighting and edge equalization reduce visible brightness jumps that photos often have. Use the tiled preview (and cube/sphere views) before you export PNG.

Use cases

Tile floors and walls in Unity or Unreal, wrap cylinders and spheres in Blender, build terrain splat layers, or feed the result into a normal map generator or full PBR set so every map shares the same repeat. For height-driven materials, start from a 16-bit height map after the albedo tiles cleanly.

Frequently Asked Questions

A seamless (tileable) texture repeats without a visible edge. Left matches right and top matches bottom, so floors, walls, and terrain can cover large areas without a repeating seam line.

Upload your photo, optionally crop to a square region, set blend width (about 36–80 px for most textures), enable lighting and edge equalization if the photo has uneven light, then click Make Seamless. Check the tiled preview and download PNG when the grid looks continuous.

Start around 64 px on a 512–1024 source. Too narrow leaves a hard cut; too wide softens unique features into a blurry band. Increase width if you still see a line; decrease if the middle of the tile looks muddy.

Open our seamless texture checker, upload the image, and view a 2×2 or 3×3 tile grid. Any hard vertical or horizontal line is a seam. Fix it with the seamless texture generator, then re-check.

Yes. Set the material to tile UVs (or use a Mapping node in Blender). Export PNG from this tool, then plug albedo into Base Color and generate matching normal/roughness maps from the same tile if you need PBR.

Yes. No account, no watermark, and processing runs locally in your browser — images never leave your device. Commercial use is allowed under our Terms.

Game developers, architects, interior designers, VFX, and product visualization teams use tileable textures for large surfaces without loading massive single images.
